In many villages across Kerala, girls are still denied quality education due to poverty, lack of infrastructure, or social pressures. Oleena Mahila Samajam is changing this through its grassroots initiative to educate girls and build their confidence and future prospects.
This campaign focuses on providing girls—particularly those from low-income and marginalized communities—with access to school supplies, digital resources, counseling support, and scholarships for continued education. Our team identifies at-risk girls through Panchayat outreach and partners with local schools to ensure holistic support.
We’ve seen firsthand how education not only improves literacy but drastically reduces early marriage, empowers better health choices, and opens career pathways. Each girl educated becomes a ripple of change—uplifting her family, her village, and society at large.
